Presentation of the technical characteristics and sustainability contribution of selected circular raw materials distributed by Grolman Group, such as:
– UBQ, a thermoplastic material obtained from municipal solid waste
– Alucha, a circular calcium carbonate obtained from sludge generated during paper recycling
– Carbon black pigments (Orion) produced from bio-circular raw materials
– Other circular / recycled materials

This is followed by a technical analysis of the challenges and opportunities for the integration of these circular materials under different sector-specific regulations and new European directives.

Finally, future trends and the challenges faced by the plastics industry in achieving higher sustainability rates will be assessed.
